Electrical Work

$75/hour

We provide expert marine electrical services, including troubleshooting, repairs, and new system installations. Whether it’s navigation systems, lighting, or battery upgrades, we ensure safe and reliable performance for all your onboard electrical needs.

Outboard Maintenance

$75/hour

Keep your engine running strong with expert outboard service performed right at your dock. From oil changes and lower unit services to fuel system checks and troubleshooting, we handle routine maintenance and minor repairs without the hassle of hauling your boat to a shop. This can also include winterization, 100 hour, 300 hour, and 500 hour services.

Detailing

$20/foot

Our marine detailing service is designed to keep your vessel in top condition, both aesthetically and structurally. We provide comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning, including hull washing, oxidation removal, polishing, and waxing to protect against UV damage and saltwater corrosion. From routine maintenance to deep cleaning, our detailing helps extend the life of your boat and keeps it looking showroom-ready all season long. Bottom painting is grouped in with this and is the same price per foot.

Fiberglass & Gel Coat

$85/hour

Our fiberglass and gel coat services cover everything from crack repairs to full restorations, ensuring your boat stays both strong and visually flawless. We use high-quality materials and expert techniques to match color and finish for a smooth, long-lasting result.

I’m Jonas Gilbert, owner of Neptune’s Hand Marine Inc., a mobile marine service based out of Virginia Beach. With generations of my family being involved in the boating community both professionally and casually, I’ve spent my whole life working hands-on with boats of all sizes - from center consoles to offshore fishing vessels - and specialize in keeping them clean, reliable, and ready for the water. My services include detailing, outboard maintenance, electrical installs, fiberglass & gel coat repair, and bottom painting. I am fully licensed, insured, and committed to treating every boat as if it were my own. Whether you’re a weekend boater or a full-time fisherman, my goal is simple: make boat ownership easier, so you spend less time worrying about upkeep and more time on the water.
